What's included for every partner
Commission-only model — no cost to refer
There is no registration fee, no referral fee, and no ongoing cost to participate in the programme. When you refer a debt, your client pays commission only if funds are recovered. If recovery does not succeed, there is no charge.
Named contact at Merion
Every partner has a named contact at Merion — a specialist who knows the programme and can answer questions about specific referrals. You are not routed through a general call centre.
Regular updates
You and your client receive regular updates throughout the recovery process. No news blackouts; no mystery about what is happening with a referral you lodged.
Client portal access
Partners can access the Merion client portal to track the status of referrals in real time. Your client also gets their own portal access, so they can follow along without needing to contact you.
Simple, fast referral process
Submit a referral online in two minutes. No lengthy on-boarding process, no paper forms, no retainer to sign. Once registered, future referrals take minutes.

Commission-only: plain English
The no-recovery-no-fee model is straightforward. Merion takes a commission from the amounts actually recovered. If nothing is recovered, nothing is charged — to your client, and there is no cost to you for making the referral.
The commission rate is disclosed in writing before recovery commences, so your client knows the cost before agreeing to proceed. There are no hidden charges.

What to note
- Merion operates in QLD, VIC, NSW and the ACT — debts in other states may be referred but coverage should be confirmed
- Merion focuses on commercial (B2B) debts — consumer debts are outside scope
- Legal proceedings (court action) are a separate engagement if required; Merion can advise on referral to a solicitor at that stage
- Specific commission rates are provided per-referral in writing; we do not publish a fixed rate schedule
